Our sales and design team had the opportunity to attend, for the first time since the start of the health crisis, the Première Vision Paris fair. The event, despite not having the motion that characterized it before the pandemic, presents a gradual and continuous recovery, as stated by Gilles Lasbordes, CEO of Première Vision, in FashionUnited.
The fair, which has presented threads, fabrics, accessories and proposals for Spring/Summer 2023 in three pavilions, maintains its hybrid format between the physical world and its virtual “dubbing”. This last aspect has continued until today despite the physical closure of doors. Among the trends of this SS23 season, we must highlight the important evolution of supply, towards greater sustainability. For us, it is a strong motivation to attend the fair to find innovative materials that allow us to create developments that do not harm the environment. In fact, we were very pleased to see that, beyond focusing on aesthetics and design, the fair has placed great emphasis on eco-responsibility: an offer that has become transversal, incorporated into all trades and for all markets. , highlighted in particular by a new trend forum, “Do it sustainably”. In this forum, four areas of responsible development were presented around yarns and fibers, hides and leather, accessories and components.
